Methi rice bath

Methi leaves are very healthy and it helps the digestive system, good for heart, strong antioxidant and most importantly cures mouth ulcers. 

Tasty with plain curd or cucumber salad :)

Need 17-20 minutes to prepare


Ingredients
  • Methi leaves one bowl
  • Boiled rice 1 cup
  • Green chillies 4-5
  • Garlic 4 cloves ( chopped )
  • 1 Onion ( finely chopped)
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Urad dal and mustard 1 tbsp each
  • Salt 1 tbsp

Procedure
  • Take a Pan and heat up the oil, add urad dal and mustard
  • Mustard will starts spluttering, add garlic and saute well
  • Now add green chilies and fry
  • Add chopped onion and saute well
  • Add methi leaves to above ingredients and stir well, till its colour changes. (Fry for 7-8 minutes and stir occasionally)
  • Now add boiled rice, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes
  • Your methi rice is ready to serve.
