Methi rice bath |
Methi leaves are very healthy and it helps the digestive system, good for heart, strong antioxidant and most importantly cures mouth ulcers.
Tasty with plain curd or cucumber salad :)
Need 17-20 minutes to prepare
Ingredients
- Methi leaves one bowl
- Boiled rice 1 cup
- Green chillies 4-5
- Garlic 4 cloves ( chopped )
- 1 Onion ( finely chopped)
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Urad dal and mustard 1 tbsp each
- Salt 1 tbsp
Procedure
- Take a Pan and heat up the oil, add urad dal and mustard
- Mustard will starts spluttering, add garlic and saute well
- Now add green chilies and fry
- Add chopped onion and saute well
- Add methi leaves to above ingredients and stir well, till its colour changes. (Fry for 7-8 minutes and stir occasionally)
- Now add boiled rice, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes
- Your methi rice is ready to serve.
