Cut Mirchi 

Ingredients
  • Chilli (Mirchi) 5-6
  • Besan 1cup
  • Rice flour ½ cup
  • Chilli powder ¾ tbsp
  • Baking soda ¼ tbsp
  • Water 1+¼  cup
  • Grated carrot ½ cup
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Coriander leaves ½ cup
  • Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Procedure
  • Slit Mirchi in the centre and remove seeds. Keep it aside
  • Take a plate, add grated carrot, chopped onion and coriander leaves. Mix gently and keep it aside. 

  • Take a bowl and add besan, rice flour, chilli powder, baking soda, salt and mix well. Now add water to this mixture and mix well without any lumps. The batter consistency should be thicker than Idli batter

  • Now heat up 3 tbsp of oil and add this to the batter and mix well. Now your Mirchi batter is ready
  • Take a frying pan and heat up the oil
  • Now, take a slit Mirchi and dip in the Mirchi batter neatly
  • Fry it in the hot oil on medium flame. Fry it till it becomes golden & crispy
  • Now slit the hot & crispy Mirchi in the centre and stuff the carrot, onion & coriander masala in the centre.
  • While serving, sprinkle some salt, chilli powder and lemon juice on stuffed masala 



Tip!
You can also use Bread instead of Mirchi then your Bread Cut Masala will be ready :)
