Ingredients
- Chana daal 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Elaichi/ cardamom 2-3 ( elaichi powder ½ tbs)
- Fresh grated coconut 3tbs
- Pinch of salt
- Dry fruits (kaju, kishmish)
Procedure
- Soak chana daal for two hours
- Cook chana daal and drain off the extra water. (You can cook in pressure cooker or the vessel)
- Now add sugar, elaichi powder, grated coconut, salt and saute well
- In low flame, cook till the sugar melts and stir constantly until thickened
- Finally add the dry fruits and serve with Ghee.
