Tomato & Peanut Curry


The combination of peanut and tomato is very tasty and this curry is specially served with chapati.

Ingredients

  • One Tomato (finely chopped)
  • One Onion (finely chopped)
  • Peanut (semi powdered) 
  • Curry leaves
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tbs (for extra taste)
  • Chili powder 1 tbs
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tbs
  • Cumin and coriander powder 1 tbs
  • Oil 1 tbs
  • Urad dal & mustard 1 tbs
  • Salt ¾ tbs
  • Water 4 tbs 


Procedure

  • Heat the oil in a pan and add urad dal, mustard. When it starts to spluttering then add ginger garlic paste and saute well
  • Now add curry leaves, turmeric powder, onion and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and fry it for another 2 minutes
  • Add Blended peanut or powdered peanut, add chili powder, cumin & coriander powder, salt. 
  • Saute well and sprinkle some water. Now Cook for 5-7 minutes and stir it occasionally. Your tomato peanut curry is ready to serve.
